Salinger
I think that it would make a huge differince in american writing. I think that so many people loved his writing when The Catcher in the Rye came out I think that a lot of people would be very interested in his new books and whatever else he has written. Since Salinger has been writing every day of his life since he published The Catcher in The Rye and has not published anything else because he rejected fame it should be quite interesting to see what he has accomplished over all that time.

True, true, but what if the next book was BAD? What would that do to our perception of him as a writer and to his role and repuation in Am. Literature? Interesting concept. Good post.
