Non-Fiction Non-Narrative Salinger

I dont really connect with Salinger very much. I guess if I had to connect with him I would connect kinda with him not sharing much of his writing. I like to write stories and stuff I am not very good at it though,but he was I dont like to share any of my stories with anyone because I dont want anyone to not like it, but I guess thats a part of life. I definatly think that Salinger is in away writing Holden as himself. I think that Salinger enjoys writing but he doesnt want to share it with the world and Holdens kinda the same I think that he knows he is smart and can do good things but doesnt want too. Also I think that Holden and Salinger are connected because of their relationships. Holden doesnt really want a relationship and neither does Salinger. I think that they are both too scared to have a real true relationship with anyone.This article hasn't really helped me connect to Salinger . Like I said earlier that would be my connection to him and his writing. I dont understand though why he didnt want to publish anything else. He was a good writer and a lot of people enjoyed his book. I guess he just didn't want the publicity of doing something good.
